New Stafford Loan
Rates Effective July 1, 2008
Finally, some good news for families
struggling economically. Effective July 1, 2008, the
interest rate on subsidized Stafford loans dropped from 6.8%
to 6.0%. The unsubsidized Stafford loan rate remains at
6.8%, however.
